Brighton Day Trip

A couple Saturdays back, Michael and I took the train down from London to see the beautiful sea-side town of Brighton.

It’s only a 1.5hour train ride and we got lucky with the amazing weather (it was 30!). We arrived early in the morning (around 9am) and headed straight to the beach. At that point it wasn’t busy so we got some breakfast and walked along the famous Brighton Pier.

A couple of hours later (after we’d gone on the British Airways 360 which was amazing by the way) it was crazy how busy it got! People were definitely out to enjoy the sun!

The beach was really nice although the water was EXTREMELY cold and the pebbles are very uncomfortable to walk on. But all in all it was a really fun day.

Check out everything we got up to in the vlog

Have you been to Brighton? Or anywhere else in the UK you’d recommend?

Love,

Sofia

I’ve never been to England. Brighton looks like a fun place and you’re so fortunate to be only 1.5 hours away. My closest beach (even though I’m in the state of Texas and the beach is in Texas, too) is 4 hours away. The more popular beaches are 6 hours away (still in Texas). I’d love to be able to visit Brighton one day, though maybe on a less popular day. I saw the first pictures and thought it was a nice, uncrowded beach, but by later in the day – wow! The view from the tower was fantastic! And the ice cream looks wonderful! I don’t really think I’d care for those stones on the beach, though. You’re generally barefoot on the beach and it doesn’t look comfortable at all! Thanks for sharing – great pix and great job on the video!
