When Michael and I took the flight over to London for our big move, we decided to stopover in Singapore for a few days, using the Singapore Airlines stopover deal.
The deal that we did is the Singapore Stopover Holidays one and honestly I can’t even express how worth it it was. You get access to over 20 attractions, which includes all the big ones like getting the cable car to Sentosa island, Gardens by The Bay, Orchid Garden, Singapore Flyer, River Cruise (would recommend to do at night time), a bunch of attraction at Sentosa including the waterpark (which we didn’t actually know about until we were there – check out what happened in the vlog below)! We got some money off at the Chinatown food markets, you can visit a bunch of museums and you get decent hotel prices as well.
The one thing I would mention is that you have to pick up the pass at the airport, so make sure to do that, otherwise you will end up like us where you get to the hotel and haven’t done it. They do deliver, which is what we ended up doing, however it cost an extra $30. We are fooools!
Overall though, we definitely got the value out of it – if you’re going to Singapore and want to do a lot in a short period of time then this is an awesome deal.
Other then that for the first night (as we can only afford one) Michael & I stayed at the famous Marina Bay Sands hotel. We got a room with a view out to the docks as the infinity pool on the roof faces the city so we decided to face the other way. In general, the hotel definitely has gorgeous views and the infinity pool is super unique and fun to hang out with. But the hotel is a tourist destination (though luckily only guests can use the pool – not that it’s any less busy. Best time to visit the pool is either just when it’s opening or at night). As such, the amenities aren’t as great as you’d hope for the price. Our toilet got clogged and we had to get new pillows as ours had some dirt on them. But aside from that it was nice and the staff are very friendly.
I would definitely recommend a trip to Singapore and to utilise the deals that Singapore Airlines do! I loved the food especially and you can check out everything we ate and what else we got up to in my vlog below.
