I picked this up at the start of last summer (in Australia) and have been playing around with it since.
I really like the packaging of this bronzer. It’s simple, pretty and I like how the image of the sun is pushed into it. I really like the consistency and quality of this bronzer too. It’s not powdery, super easy to blend and feels extremely smooth. It goes on the same, super smooth and not at all patchy or chunky.
I got this Rimmel bronzer in the shade 025 Sun Glow. When I first opened it I was concerned at how it looked slightly too orange. However once I applied it to the skin, I found that it gives a really gorgeous tan, bronze kind of shade, not even close to being orange. I have a light olive skin complexion and found that this shade really compliments my winter skin more, rather than my summer skin. When I have a bit more of a deep tan, I do find that the bronzer is pretty much invisible as it isn’t super dark, so if you are quite tanned I don’t think this would work for you.
It’s also build-able, though I do find if I apply too much it can start to look slightly more orange. But for a very natural dusting (that I like) in winter, it looks amazing. It didn’t move around a lot from what I found, it claims to stay on for 10 hours and be waterproof. I haven’t tested either of these but I do tend to touch my face a lot throughout the day and usually products do just naturally get rubbed off.
I also think this is a great body bronzer. There isn’t any glitter or shimmer in it so it works well if you want to subtly add some tan into certain areas and sculpt your body more. As it is extremely blend-able, it works well for that.
All in all however, I have been really enjoying using it this winter and the quality of it is incredible.
