I picked this up quite a while back now after hearing a lot about the Too Faced bronzer range. I decided to try the Beach Bunny bronzer out as it looked a little more exciting and interesting than just their usual plain bronzers.
To start, I really like the packaging. It’s very sturdy, has a good size mirror and isn’t ridiculously big. But it’s still a decent size to easily find/see in your makeup bag.
As for the bronzer itself, I do have mixed feelings about it. I like how it is in stripes, as I think it makes it stand out from other bronzers in terms of appearance. The consistency of the whole bronzer is extremely good. It’s not powdery, is easy to apply and blend. It’s very finely milled as well.
The two shades that are more on the bronze/brown side are stunning. When you use just them two, you get a really gorgeous glow to the skin. They aren’t too pigmented, so if you have a darker skin tone it probably won’t show up much, as I found when I had a tan it was very difficult to see it. In winter however it’s definitely distinguishable, at least for me.
The two more pink shades however, is where my conflict comes from. On their own they make a beautiful glow that looks really pretty on the cheeks. However I think that, even mixed with the other shades, they are slightly too red-ish, making my whole face appear slightly more red/flushed rather than bronze. As you can imagine that’s not a very nice look. I think these two shades are slightly more pigmented that the bronze shades which is why this problem occurs.
All in all, I think I love the quality of this bronzer, which is why I’d look into buying other Too Faced bronzers in the future. However, I probably wouldn’t repurchase this one again.
Have you tried any Too Faced bronzers before?
