Although this year the weather in Australia is being crazy temperamental, slowly it’s getting colder and autumn is settling in. So I though I would write about my favourite autumn blushes.
As such, I start to reach for darker, more berry shades throughout my makeup which includes berry eyeshadow, berry lips and of course, berry blush. This year however aside from my favorite berry blushes I’ve also been reaching for more natural, peach shades that give a gorgeous glow to the skin and make it look very healthy without any pink/berry colour.
I’ll first mention my two favorite berry shades and then the two more natural ones for autumn and going into winter.
Revlon Wine Not Blush
I picked this up during winter last year and didn’t use it much once summer came around. However now that it’s colder again, this blush has become a fairly regular one in my routine. Although it is very pigmented and you do have to be careful with that, it gives you a stunning flush if used with scarcity. I have a full review of it here if you wanted more details.
Nars Seduction Blush
Quite a lot more expensive than the Revlon one, this blush is amazing quality and worth every cent. Not that you would expect anything else from a Nars blush. It has more purple undertones in this blush compared to the more pink undertones of the Revlon one. Also quite pigmented but very easy to blend out and ends up giving you a gorgeous flush.
Essence 20 Satin Love Blush
This is a blush I picked up around a month ago and have been loving ever since. Essence is a very affordable brand and the quality of this blush is fantastic. It leaves the skin with a gorgeous healthy glow which just makes you look like you have very healthy skin. It is quite pigmented but not at all powdery and easy to blend as well.
Max Factor Crème Puff Blush
This is the shade 10 Nude Mauve and a blush I have had for quite some time now. It isn’t shimmery and comes out more golden than it seems in the pan. It feels very soft and isn’t powdery. Much like the Essence one, it makes you look like you have amazing skin by giving off a subtle shine that is in no way shimmery or intense. Again I have a full review of it here if you’re interested.
