Over the last couple of months I have been playing around with this palette from Sugarbaby.
This is the Beautif-Eyes Natural Eyeshadow Palette* and I absolutely love the packaging that it comes in. It’s a gorgeous white packaging and has a very rough feeling texture around the outside, kind of what I would imagine a snakes/crocodile skin to feel like.
It comes with fourteen shades, where one half is matte and the other are shimmers. It also came with a brush, however I personally never use the brush that comes with palettes, as I never seem to think they are as good as the eye brushes I already have.
The seven shimmer shades are absolutely stunning. They are rich in pigment, easy to blend and don’t have much fall-out. My favourite shade is definitely the second one from the left on the top row. It’s a beautiful bronze, which looks gorgeous with other shades or on its own.
The matte shades are definitely not as pigmented as the shimmer ones, meaning you do have to go in a few times to build up the colour. The exception to this is the matte black, which is very pigmented and beautiful. However they still blend very well and again, don’t have much fall out.
I think especially if you are beginning with eyeshadow, this would be a fantastic palette to get! Its got a good mix of shimmer and matte shades, and you can slowly build them up but also blend them out easily.
You can get Sugarbaby at Myer and this palette retail price is $19.95 AUD.
