When I first tried this in the shop, I was slightly shocked at just how truly white it was.
This primer comes out in a liquid formula and looks fluorescent white. But do not let that deter you. For me, the fact that it was so bright was what drew me in to get it as I just had to see what that was like.
It’s very easy to blend out and it does turn out to be pretty much invisible so you’re not left with white streaks everywhere. The primer does an amazing job at brightening up the skin, especially on those days where my face is a little dull. I think if you like a dewy look, this is awesome under foundation or on it’s own. It does feel slightly sticky when you initially apply it, however this feeling goes away pretty quickly and it definitely helps to get concealer/foundation to slide on better.
I would say the only downside of it, is that it doesn’t do anything for pores. So if you’re after a pore filling primer, you have to look elsewhere (like this Garnier one, read the full review here). But I love applying it in the areas I want a little more brightness and I think this would be perfect for those of you going into spring/summer now!
Have you tried this pure light primer before? What were your thoughts?
