December Favourites

Happy New Year everyone! I can’t believe it’s 2017!! December was a hectic month for me and I pretty much stuck to the following list of awesome things like a magnet. Feel free to watch this video below where I talk about them or to read down below 🙂

My First Youtube Attempt: December Favourites 😀

The first thing I really liked was the Too Faced Christmas in New York, Merry Macaroon palette. These shadows are stunning, so blendable, pigmented and allowed me to do a large variety of looks. This was my first time trying Too Faced shadows and I can definitely see what they hype is all about.
Another thing I’ve loved in December was the Stila One Step Correct serum, which I use as a primer. It’s hydrating, smoothing and allows my makeup to go on beautifully. It evens out the skin tone and sunk in very quickly. I wish it covered pores a little better but even still I enjoyed it a lot.
The much raved about Becca Jaclyn Hill palette was a huge hit with me last month. I love all the shades of both the three blushes and the two highlighters. They all give you a gorgeous glow which you can either make natural or build it up to shine like a diamond. Whatever you fancy that day.
The Ecotool brushes have been absolutely amazing! I didn’t have any hopes for these and they have proved me wrong. They are so soft and good to blend with, picking up a good amount of shadow and barely keeping any of it to themselves. Easy to blend out, great size and it’s amazing they are from recycled materials!
The McArthur Replenishing Shampoo & Conditioner* were a staple for me as they have really helped me to prolong how often I need to wash my hair. Full of natural ingredients, they left my hair clean and incredibly soft. Highly recommend them.
I’ve never tried anything from Charles Worthington before, but after this dry shampoo I really want to. It doesn’t leave a white cast, it smells great and absorbs oils easily. It doesn’t leave my hair feeling straw like or dirty and I can’t get enough.
The DKNY perfume in Be Delicious Fresh Blossom has been my staple go-to summer scent as it’s fresh and good for everyday wear.
And finally, the T2 Good Morning Tea. I love this stuff, it’s a black loose leaf tea which I have pretty much every morning. It’s good at waking me up and getting me ready for the day and if you love black tea, you have to try this.
What were your December favourites? Have you tried any of these before?
Love,
Sofia
