I’ve never tried an eyeshadow primer before this one, which is why I decided to grab it and give it a go.
I don’t have oily lids but I do have hooded eyes so sometimes my eyeshadow can move around. The consistency of this is almost silicone feeling and a little goes a long way. It’s transparent and doesn’t cover the veins I have on my lids which is why I’ve also tried it out over and under a concealer. It works better if you apply concealer first, then this and then the eyeshadow.
I found that the primer did everything I hoped it would. It made all eyeshadow I tried (both drugstore and high end) really come through with color and it didn’t make it look cakey or difficult to blend. Once blended, it stayed put in place for hours and lasted all day and night. It didn’t crease on me at all and I can’t really ask for more from an eyeshadow primer!
Such a quick and easy step to make my eyeshadow last and look so much better, highly recommend giving it a go! I can’t compare it to any other one, as this is the first one I’ve tried but I don’t know what else an eyeshadow primer can do that this one didn’t on me!
