Tarte Tarteist Lip Paint | Review

I got this about a month ago at Sephora in Melbourne and haven’t stopped wearing it since.

This shade is called TBT and it’s a gorgeous brown plum color. It wears very well as it’s not drying and is of creamy consistency. It applies really easily and although it sunk into my lines a little bit, I wasn’t too concerned about it. It dries with a beautiful luminous sheen that’s not watery like a lip gloss but also not matte.

I really like the applicator because it’s thin and long, making it easy to work around the lips without being messy. It doesn’t patch when applied, spreading out evenly over the lips. It lasts really well on me (doesn’t matter if I wear lip liner or not) for about six hours and does well through eating and drinking.

I think this is great especially if you’re a beginner in liquid lipsticks because it’s so easy to apply and I can’t get enough of this shade! I’m definitely going to be grabbing some other shades soon as well!
You can find the full range on the Sephora website here.
Have you tried any of the Tarte Lip Paints?

  1. Your Instagram came up on my suggested users, so I checked out your page and your blog, and I love them both! Also, your review definitely made me want to give this product a try. I really like that you addressed whether or not it sank into your lines, as that is a problem I’ve often had with liquid lipsticks that has steered me away from anything that isn’t a traditional lipstick. Great review, thank you so much for posting it!

    1. Thank you so much!! I’m so glad you decided to check it out 😀 Yeah I completely agree, especially because some liquid lipsticks are so drying and can look terrible! xx
