I might be very late to the party with this one but there is a reason why this powder is all the hype!
I have the shade Deep Natural, which matches me really well. Australis has a decent range of shades in this powder, which is always a positive. The powder itself isn’t super powdery and doesn’t make my face look caked on, whether I apply it over foundation or on it’s own. Over foundation, it sets everything really well, giving a matte finish and definitely makes my makeup last longer. I also love it just by itself, as it evens out my skin tone whilst making it look like I have nothing on.
It’s long lasting and a little goes quite a long way. As it’s winter at the moment, my skin is definitely more dry than usual however the powder doesn’t patch onto any dry areas or look strange.
The packaging is simple but sturdy, meaning it won’t break all over your makeup bag. It comes with a handy, good size mirror and a little sponge. Personally I don’t use the sponge as I find that applying powder with a sponge makes my makeup go patchy/cakey so I just use a brush. However, this might be because I’m using it wrong, so if it works for you, that’s even better!
